Articles by RKI

At RKI, we write occasional articles on a wide variety of topics; our articles have appeared in several different publications. Here are two recent articles written for the International Association of Facilitators:

At Play in the Field of Meaning: Facilitating Dialogue (41 KB, pdf) – Spring, 2000
Dialogue, as envisioned by David Bohm and advanced by The Dialogue Project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, offers inviting prospects for certain groups. Bohm suggests that while facilitators are useful at the outset, they should eventually work themselves out of a job, leaving a group to manage its own work. This paper addresses the question of what facilitators could learn and introduce to a group committed to dialogue.

Human Spectrums: An Interactive Tool for Building Understanding and Group Capacity – Winter, 1999
This article, written for the International Association of Facilitators' Annual Conference, presents information about Human Spectrums, an interactive tool that promotes the understanding and solidarity necessary for effective group work.
