Alfalfa RestaurantWinter, 1996For Alfalfa Restaurant, in Lexington, Kentucky, we conducted focus groups to learn what repeat customers and first-time customers valued most about the restaurant, and how they would like the restaurant to change. Because we don't want to give away Alfalfa's proprietary secrets, we won't tell you about the results of the research. We can tell you, however, that this beloved spot in Lexington celebrated its 25th anniversary in June, 1998 and appears to be growing stronger and more interesting by the moment. We can also say that these may have been our all-time favorite focus groups because Alfalfa provided the refreshments – a selection of its own marvelous desserts!
