America SpeaksSummer, 1999America Speaks is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization based in Washington, D.C. that seeks to make sure the actions of elected officials reflect the will of citizens. American Speaks aims to strengthen democracy by making it more accessible to the public and by engaging more people in local, regional, and national governance. Steve consulted on design and facilitated a two-day planning retreat for staff and board members on issues of organizational mission and structure. |
