Steve provided a series of related services for a coalition convened by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce composed of state agencies and nonprofit organizations with a stake in workforce development issues.
- He advised on the design of a two-day summit to discuss workforce development issues. He also coordinated facilitation of breakout sessions at the summit.
- He conducted a set of six focus groups in different regions of the state that were designed to generate information about how employers view workforce development issues.
- He produced a report on the results of the focus groups, which the coalition used as one base for discussion at the summit and then made more widely available to those with an interest in workforce development issues.
- He advised on the structure of an ongoing collaborative effort among employers and workforce development service providers and served as facilitator for that effort.
