Women and Substance Abuse

Summer – Fall, 1994

For a coalition of groups working on issues of women and substance abuse, Rona launched a strategic planning process using the highly participative "open space technology." The more than 30 participants represented the full spectrum of interests, from former substance abusers to state-level policy makers. Participants worked together for two days, finishing the open space event with a completed framework for developing a state-mandated strategic plan.
