Dialogue ProcessesRKI designs dialogue processes, typically on topics that are important to public or civic life, such as school improvement or community development. We also facilitate dialogue and train others to facilitate using designs we generate collaboratively. Recently we have become more involved in dialogue based on the work of the theoretical physicist David Bohm, author of On Dialogue. Bohm's ideas and his passionate commitment to the possibilities of dialogue have strengthened our own understanding and practices in this area. You can read more about our understanding of dialogue in the Spring, 2000 issue of Best Practices, the RKI newsletter. Additional information can be also be found in an article Rona developed for an RKI workshop at the International Association of Facilitators annual conference in Spring, 2000. The article, At Play in the Field of Meaning: Facilitating Dialogue (pdf, 41 KB), is designed to introduce facilitators to dialogue.
